Confined Space Rescue Training: Course Outline

Our 40-hour Confined Space Rescue Technician course is designed for first responder rescue teams in either non-entry or confined space entry rescue situations. Course participants will receive both horizontal and vertical permit-required confined space training as well as training in elevated rescue scenarios and equipment training for full-range preparation.

The course is designed with a stair-stepped educational approach that consists of both classroom and hands-on training that equips participants with theoretical and practical skills. Participants will discuss the use of the National Incident Management System for all real-life rescue situations.

The training objectives comply with Appendix F of the Confined Space Entry Standard set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration under 29 CFR 1910.146. At the end of the course, participants will receive a course completion card valid for a year.
